Is it not still right time to open the mind and mouth both where ( 44 ) members of Executive (Cabinet) misuse the State Laws out rightly? When 601 members of Legislative or Constituent Assembly members failed to meet each of the deadlines as decided and declared in the past. Only one deadline is yet to see (promulgation of new Constitution in June 2010) that is in the fate of the future. People respect to rule of law and supremacy of Judiciary though there is no hope of justice. Delay justice is denial of justice, neither any reform nor any contempt of court is initiated to Transparency International. Involvement of Nepalese Judiciary in corruption as per its last year’s report.
Who will raise the voice against these anarchism ? The fourth organ of the State “ media”? The petty interest mission oriented political party favored Civil Societies? Half awaken and petty benefit seeking intellectuals? Regressive forces?
Only nationalist true children of motherland Nepal can open mouth and mind at this critical stage. They could be from any political ideology, profession, religion, culture, caste/ ethnicity or from any political party staying Nepal or elsewhere should come forward with the solutions. Many leaders and intellectuals have tired repeating our country could not be developed due to 240 years Royal regime, 104 Rana regime, 2007 to 1017 chaotic and liquidated political situation , 30 years Panchayati regime, 15 years ruled by visionless regime, 10 years Maoist movement and now in the name of transition stage every one is trying to get benefits/ extracting the existing available resources, by hook or crook.
All are watching to every individual’s activities minutely. It is a face saving problem to all Nepalese due to incompetent leaderships. Can we say with any one that our leaders are doing better for the best interest of Nepal and Nepalese? Do not forget the past wounds and pus that have been existed in the body of motherland by all past leaders, their advisors with in or outside Nepal. All are responsible from the past Heads of the State and the Heads of the different Government.
Only Nepali model can develop our nation. We can have a sustainable Peace with proud only if it is based on our own socio-economic, geographical, and harmonious cultural/religious, ethnic diversity. These diversities are to be respected as a heritage and the beauty of the nation. Many philosophers and world-renowned personality of Nepal are respected, regarded everywhere in the globe for their philosophy, thoughts, and courageous endeavor as witnessed in the history.
Please identify, recognize, and respect others’ innovative ideas/initiatives, event records, and courageous individual activity. At this time, please welcome and congratulate Mr. Deepak Sharma Bajagain who set the world record as the longest marathon reader. Now within two weeks of period, he is going to attempt three different world records – maximum number of Garlic chewing, Maximum bouncing of Basketball, and Maximum Table Tennis ball holding – all in a singe day, on the World Aids Day. Let us wish him success for this endeavor as well as his life. Cannot our leadership learn the lesson from the individual efforts made by world record holder, Mr. Bajagain for the sustainable peace through promulgating new constitution?
